HP’s Omen 15 gaming laptop is a great option for gamers as it has a robust cooling system, long battery paired with great hardware. HP did delay the launch of this laptop in India, however, made it silently available on their site and Amazon off late.
In terms of design and build, HP has made almost no changes when compared to the last-gen, however, upgraded the display to QHD one with a 165 Hz refresh rate. Also, last time, HP limited the GPU to an RTX 2060, however, this time you have an RTX 3070 option as well.

For display, as told the new Omen 15 sports a 15.6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response time. The display remains micro-edge and has an anti-glare screen with peak brightness up to 300 nits and covering 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
You have a full-size, 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard and 26-Key Rollover Anti-Ghosting Key technology, while for connectivity you have both Intel Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 support. The HP Omen 15 will sport a 70.9 Wh Li-ion polymer battery which is said to last up to 7 hours and 30 minutes.
For audio, you have dual speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen and you have an HP Wide Vision 720p HD camera with integrated dual array digital microphones.
Coming to ports, you have 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C port (DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge); 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A (HP Sleep and Charge); 2 SuperSpeed USB Type-A; 1 Mini DisplayPort™; 1 HDMI 2.1; 1 RJ-45; 1 AC smart pin and 1 headphone/microphone combo.
Overall, the new HP Omen 15 gaming laptop is a good option for gamers who want a good gaming performance with long battery life and no compromise on the display and thermals of the laptop. The variant with RTX 3070 has been priced at ₹164,999 and the one with RTX 3060 is available for ₹134,999.
