HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 launched

Gamescom 2019: HP launches new Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 processor at starting price of $799.99

In 2019 we already have seen many gaming laptops and also witnessed HP’s refreshed Pavilion Gaming laptop series. Before they launched the Pavilion gaming laptops with 9th gen Intel processors paired with NVIDIA graphics, now it’s time for AMD CPUs to rise.

The new HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop will be powered by AMD Ryzen 5 3550H and Ryzen 7. Also, it is paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti with Max-Q design. It borrows similar looks to the Intel-powered Pavilion Gaming 15 series of laptops.

The gaming laptop also has an angular black chassis. For cooling, HP has implemented dual-fan design along with a wide rear corner vent and enlarged air inlets that all are touted to help deliver maximise airflow.

The Pavilion Gaming 15 laptop sports a 15.6-inch full-HD display with 144Hz and 60Hz refresh rate options. The display here is quite slim and it has a large 79% screen-to-body ratio. For gamers, HP has also included Stereo Speakers on the laptop. The storage can be configured up to 1TB PCIe SSD.

The base variant will run on Ryzen 5 3550H and will have the NVIDIA GTX 1050 on board. This combo will be a great one for gaming laptop seekers with low budget.

Running on Windows 10 the laptop comes with 3 USB ports (1 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type A), 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type C)), HDMI Port, Multi Card Slot, Headphone and Mic Combo Jack, RJ45 (LAN) ports.

The HP Pavilion Gaming 15 comes with backlight keyboard which matches with the color of the laptop. So, if the keys glow either green, purple or the standard white depending on which model you choose.

The new Pavilion Gaming 15 laptop with AMD processors will go on sale from September with a starting price tag of $799.99 (roughly around Rs.57,400). This will be the first Pavilion Gaming laptop series with AMD CPUs directly competing to Intel ones.

So, people who need powerful gaming laptops on a budget can really enjoy the HP Pavilion Gaming 15 laptop series with Ryzen CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs.
