HP is known to have one of the most promising business laptop series in the form of the Elite Dragonfly range and it has updated the G2 model and brought a new Dragonfly Max laptop as part of its huge CES 2021 launch. Powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processors, these new laptops are the most promising ones for the year. 5G connectivity is an additional boost and future-proofing as well.
Going deeper, both the Dragonfly G2 and Dragonfly Max are coming with a 13.3-inch display. The G2 model is powered by an Intel i3 Tiger Lake processor and it’s the only option available. Whereas you can choose between i5 and i7 Tiger Lake processors as per your requirement to power the Dragonfly Max laptop. For memory, the company offers up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB M.2 SSD storage availability. The common specs list further includes the ports – a USB 3.1 charging port, two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port, an HDMI 1.4b port, and the support for Nano-SIM.
Coming back to the display part, Dragonfly Max has only an HD 13.3-inch screen. But the G2 model can be configured with HD or 4K resolution. In both cases, you will get HP’s privacy-oriented screen which restricts the people passing by to snoop on the screen.
For video conferencing, a 5MP webcam is added to the Max and a 1.2MP webcam to the G2. Instead of the manual shutter, HP adds a dedicated button to activate or deactivate the webcam. Besides all, Max is also equipped with four wide-array microphones for an even better conference and calling experience.
According to HP, both the HP Dragonfly G2 and Dragonfly Max will hit the market before the end of this January, though didn’t mention the pricing details yet. Last but not the least, HP Elite Dragonfly Max is now available in a Black color variant too.
