Users can now select their postpaid number using their preferred 4-digit number combination thanks to homegrown leading telecom provider Jio. The Jio Choice Number is available on the internet for new consumers who are interested in obtaining a Jio postpaid connection. Users must log in using OTP verification and enter the 4-digit combination in order to access a range of bespoke numbers based on the combination.
It should be mentioned that postpaid subscribers are the only ones who can currently use the service. The user only needs to choose a preferred number, pay ₹499 once to acquire the booking code, and schedule a visit from a Jio agent to activate their SIM. Despite not being a full number, this feature still enables you to customize your Jio phone number to some extent.
How to pick your Jio postpaid number for ₹499
- Click on the Jio Choice Number page.
- Hit the Start button.
- You must provide your current cellphone number in order to receive an OTP.
- Enter your name, your PIN number, and four digits of your choice on the following page.
- Select the desired number from the options provided.
- The Book button will appear next to the desired number.
- You need to pay ₹499 to reserve the number.
- The ticket code will be sent to you through SMS.
- When a Jio representative visits, provide them with the booking code.
- Within 15 days of booking, the Jio number must be activated.
Similar services have been offered to Vodafone Idea (Vi) users for some time. However, Vi provides users with postpaid and prepaid options for VIP fancy numbers. Users who are interested can provide a desired number combination or select from the list of free and premium numbers provided by the telecom operator.
