The Honor X9b is possibly set to make its first appearance in the Indian market soon, although the company has not yet officially disclosed any specific details. There are indications of its presence on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, suggesting that an Indian version of this phone may be in the works. Last month, Honor introduced the Honor X9b in a few Arab countries.
The Upcoming Honor X9b
This smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and boasts a triple rear camera setup with a whopping 108-megapixel primary sensor. Additionally, it comes with a robust 5,800mAh battery that supports fast charging at 35W. The launch of the Honor X9b in India is expected to coincide with the introduction of the company’s inaugural TWS earbuds.
According to a report from 91Mobiles, an Honor smartphone has made an appearance on the BIS website. Although the certification listing’s screenshots do not specify a model number or exact name for the device, industry sources suggest that it is, indeed, the Honor X9b.
Furthermore, the report suggests that the Indian debut of the Honor X9b is likely to occur either in December or early January 2024, with an anticipated price point of around ₹25,000. Honor is also expected to release its first TWS earbuds alongside this phone in India.
The Honor X9b is already available in the UAE in two storage configurations: 8GB of RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB of RAM with 256GB storage. It operates on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 and features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,200×2,652) AMOLED display. This smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and an Adreno 710 GPU.
In the camera department, it boasts a triple rear camera setup, including a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the Honor X9b is equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera. Its robust 5,800mAh battery supports 35W fast charging.
