Honor, the renowned Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, made waves earlier this year with the launch of its Honor X5 smartphone. Now, exciting reports have surfaced, revealing the company’s plan to introduce an enhanced version of the phone, called the Honor X5 Plus. Ahead of its official release, the upcoming Honor X5 Plus has already gained certification from the TDRA authority, solidifying its launch in the United Arab Emirates.

The TDRA certification confirms the phone’s legitimacy, assigning it the equipment registration number ER22450/23, with certification validity extending until the 17th of July 2023. The smartphone, identified by the model number WOD-LX2, has undergone thorough testing and evaluation to meet the necessary standards.

Although the TDRA listing doesn’t disclose all the details, recent leaks have shed light on some of the specifications that consumers can look forward to in the Honor X5 Plus. The smartphone is expected to boast the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, equipped with eight ARM Cortex A53 cores, clocked at an impressive 2.2 GHz.

Manufactured using cutting-edge 12nm process technology, this chipset promises high performance and power efficiency. Running on the Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1 custom UI, the Honor X5 Plus will offer a seamless and user-friendly experience. Additionally, it is rumored to feature the IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, ensuring smooth graphics performance.

The phone’s display is reported to be a TFT LCD panel, measuring 6.56 inches, with a screen resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels. This large, high-quality display is poised to deliver an immersive viewing experience.

As for the cameras, the Honor X5 Plus is expected to flaunt a dual-camera setup on its rear, headlined by a 50MP main camera, accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera. These cameras promise to capture stunning images and offer a variety of photography options.

To keep the phone powered throughout the day, it is rumored to house a substantial 5200 mAh battery, ensuring a long-lasting and reliable performance for users. The device will support 4G connectivity and accommodate dual nano SIM cards, ensuring seamless communication and data access on the go.
