The Honor Magic 7 series debuted in China last October, featuring the standard Magic 7, the high-end Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design, and the premium Magic 7 Pro. These devices were equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC by Qualcomm and offered displays as large as 6.8 inches. Honor does still have a mid-range variant, the Magic 7 Lite, as well. Now, another new member of the lineup, tentatively called the Honor Magic 7 Mini, could be on the way.

Honor Magic 7 Mini Could Join the Lineup Soon, Tipped to Feature 6.3-Inch Display and Ultra-Slim Design

A new leak from the tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo appears to suggest a flagship phone compact phone is in the works. Although the post did not specifically mention either Honor or the device’s name, it is said that the device in question should be the Honor Magic 7 Mini. However, since the source also used the term flagship, it is assumed that this will likely be part of the already existing Honor Magic 7 series, which is still the main flagship family for the brand.

The Honor Magic 7 Mini, which crops up in the leaks, will arguably be the smallest of the lot with a 6.3-inch display. This screen size puts the model in the same wheelhouse as other compact flagships, like the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, Xiaomi 15, and the yet-to-be-announced OnePlus 13T/13 Mini. The display is rumored to feature a likely 1.5K resolution for enhanced clarity. Besides, the Honor Magic 7 Mini is also said to feature a super-slim design, but details on its exact dimensions are under wraps.

For comparison, the plain Honor Magic 7 opens up at 7.95mm thick, and the Magic 7 Pro is slightly bulkier at 8.8mm. Details about the Honor Magic 7 Mini are still scarce, but since the device is reportedly in development, it could launch in the coming months, possibly debuting in China first. More information should surface soon if the rumors hold true.
