Honor made headlines in the Chinese market with the Honor 90 Pro a few months ago, and they’ve been growing their selection ever since. However, it appears that Honor is wasting no time in preparing to launch its next flagship device, the Honor 100 Pro.
The Honor 100 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, according to Digital Chat Station. The display is no slouch either, featuring a 1.5K resolution AMOLED panel with an astounding PWM of 3,840 Hz.
The Honor 100 Pro, like its predecessor, will include dual front-facing cameras.
In terms of the release date, insider information implies that internal testing will begin in October. The official announcement is scheduled for early November in China.
Taking a step back in time, the Honor 90 Pro made a good first impression with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and support for a quick 120 Hz refresh rate. It was outfitted with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset behind the elegant skin. With RAM options of 12 or 16 GB and internal storage capacities of 256 or 512 GB.
The camera setup was also nothing to scoff at. A 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 32-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens are included. Selfie fanatics could experiment with dual front sensors of 50 megapixels and 2 megapixels.
However, the Honor 90 Pro also included 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, an under-screen fingerprint sensor, and an Android 13 operating system wrapped in the Magic UI 7.1 interface. A powerful 5,000 mAh battery powered the lights and supported 100W rapid charging.
