As per the sources, we came to know that the Japanese manufacturer has finally shown its new Honda SUV. It was intended to be launched in production form at 2022 GIIAS and was based on the SUV RS concept.
What we ended up with was a production model that was completely concealed. shielding the exposed metal from inquisitive eyes. We finally get to see the Honda WR-V SUV in all its splendor after a protracted period of tease.
Launched In Indonesia
It’s 4060 mm starting point puts it in direct competition with the Toyota Raize, Daihatsu Rocky, and Perodua Ativa. Compared to the spectacular SUV RS Concept design displayed at the 2021 GIIAS, it is considerably more muted. The Honda WR-V SUV is well-designed all around. It is appealing to the eye and is likely to make a good first impression on potential clients.
It receives an eye-catching pattern-filled chrome-studded grille with the Honda logo in the center. The grille is adorned with an RS insignia and has LED headlights in the form of reflectors on either side.
These are substantial and also contain the vehicle’s attractive-looking LED DRLs. Its grille has a chrome strip on top, just like all Honda vehicles. Additionally, there are false skid plates and fog lamps, which increase strength.
Contrary to certain Honda vehicles, the WR-face V’s is subtly done and won’t arouse controversy. A 4.2″ MID in the instrument console, automated climate control, auto-folding mirrors, auto-locking doors, leather-wrapped steering, and gear knob, six speakers, and part-leather seats are included in the model in the photographs, which is the top-spec RS trim.

It comes equipped with ADAS features such as the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist System, Lead Car Departure Notification System, Auto High Beam, LaneWatch, a camera for the left ORVM, six airbags, and automatic headlamps.
The interior, especially its 7″ touchscreen panel, is strikingly identical to the Amaze compact sedan that we get in India. This could be a clear indication that the Honda WR-V SUV will reach India.
A 1.5L gasoline engine with naturally aspirated combustion produces 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 RPM and 121 PS at 6,600 RPM to power this sub-4-meter SUV. The same apartment can also be found at All New City. There is only one CVT transmission available for it.
