The screen loses a titan. James Tolkan, the legendary face of 80s cinema, has passed away at 94. From the stern Principal Strickland in *Back to the Future* to the iconic Stinger in *Top Gun*, he commanded every frame. A master of the supporting role, Tolkan’s seven-decade legacy redefined intensity and grit, proving that character actors are the true backbone of film.
