The versatile and talented actor Rajkumar Rao is coming for a new film, ‘HIT: The First Case’. Rajkumar Rao is playing the role of Vikram. The action-thriller adaptation on Tuesday provided a glimpse of his character in the new teaser.
In the teaser, we have seen Rajkumar Rao playing the role of a cop named Vikram who is a combat beast since his past, and the recent job once again takes him to the traumatic memories. He starts to get panic attacks that are affecting his work life.
HIT mainly stands for the Homicide Intervention Team that reveals the story of a police officer on the trail of that missing woman. The movie is basically a remake of the 2020 Telugu hit having the same name. It has directed by Shailesh Kolanu who also took the responsibilities of the original.
The short teaser starts with a glimpse of Rajkumar Rao who is admitted to the hospital. After that it shows two legs on a snowy hill, he is trying to realize to his loved one that his work keeping him sane. While he is performing his duty suddenly, he got a panic attack, lost his sense, and lies on the road. Now, coming to flashback, one girl named Preethi who has set out for a solo drive, and not returned the home, her family member come to the police station.
Sanya Malhotra says to him to leave that case otherwise he might be fired, but he wants to hand over Preeti’s case, and he has followed a hunch. After taking the case, he starts to find clues like CCTV footage, and everything to reach the root, but it’s become complicated day by day. Rajkumar Rao and Sanya Malhotra start to fall in love with each other, and in a four-wheeler, they become very close to each other. However, the transformation of Rajkumar Rao is really appreciated, he is doing some ground-breaking action scenes in the teaser. Rajkumar Rai aka Vikram has determined to uncover the truth, and also rescue the girl.
HIT: The First Case: Cast
In opposite to Rajkumar Rao, we will see Santa Malhotra as a female lead. HIT: The First Case has produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan, and Kuldeep Rathore. This is the first time that Rajkumar and Sanya have collaborated on a film. It’s true we have previously seen them in Anurag Basu’s anthology Ludo but in a different segment.
HIT: The First Case: Release date
The official Twitter handle of the production house T-Series just confirmed that the film will release theatrically on 20th May 2022, but it was postponed due to the several clashes at BO, ser to hit the theatres on 15th July 2022.
