World’s biggest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp coming with new e-scooters. The company has declared about e-scooters named VIDA V1. The company announced it at the event on Friday. Hero has represented two variants of the new e-scooter. The name of the one is VISA V1 PRO and VIDA V1 PLUS. The V1 Pro cost Rs. 1.59 lakh, and the other is available at Rs. 1.45 lakh.
Hero unveils a new trailer that represents two brand-new electric scooters. The most important update is, when PRO can give a range of 165 km, PLUS can provide a range of 143 km. The e-scooter is equipped with many features like cruise control, two-way throttle, cruise control, and also an SOS alert in case of emergency. For PLUS the battery can give the power of 3.4 kW, and for PRO it will be 3.96 kW. The PRO can give the performance of 0-60km in 3.2 seconds. The PLUS will give 0-60 km within 3.4 seconds.
If you give a close look at the two e-scooter, then you don’t get any difference. The main thing that makes Hero very unique. The customer will get hazard lamps, LED Turn signals, LED Upfront Headlamps, and LED Tail Lamps. It is also an e-scooter equipped 12-inch MRF tire, disc brakes, and a silencer. There is a USB port in the e-scooter.
There is another interesting fact about the e-scooter is the switch gear options. We will get the headlamp switch gear, side light indicator, horn, and also the toggle switch for the menu. Now come to the charging options, fast charging will be 0-80% within 65 minutes. You can take one battery pack and take it home for charging. The display is really very cool.
Pawan Munjal, the managing director and CEO of Hero MotoCorp said at the time of launching, “This is a promise and commitment we made to the entire world in March this year,”. The company not only unveiled the electric vehicle but also a platform that can confirm a smooth-user experience. The e-scooter will help riders to find out nearest charging stations.
Hero Vida V1 series Availability
Hero confirms that the bookings will start from 10th October for Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur residents. The potential buyer can able to pay the token cost of Rs 2,499 got booking the e-scooter. As a newcomer, the e-scooters have many competitors like Ola S1, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X, and more. In the event, Munjal said, “We did not want to be the first but we wanted to be right,”
