Awards that have been delayed
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020, the Expo was postponed until March 31, 2022. It will serve as a gathering point for all nations, as well as the stars, legends, and icons of the sport who will be attending the Dubai International Sports Conference and the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards. The tournament will be hosted by the Dubai Sports Council.

The six candidates for the Best Male Player of the Year award are Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), Karim Benzema (Real Madrid), Robert Lewandowski (Bayern), Kylian Mbappe (PSG), Lionel Messi (PSG), and Mohamed Salah (Liverpool).
The Best Female Player of the Year accolade is up for grabs, with Jennifer Hermoso (Barcelona), Alexia Putellas (Barcelona), Alex Morgan (Orlando Pride), Sam Kerr (Chelsea), Lieke Martens (Barcelona), and Lucy Bronze (Manchester City) among the contenders.
Candidates from Spain
Several Spaniards are competing for Globe Soccer Awards in a total of 12 categories. Al Ahly, Al Hilal, Chelsea, Flamengo, and Manchester City are all competing for the Best Men’s Club award.
Txiki Begiristain and Roberto Olabe are vying for the Best Sporting Director award, while Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea) is up for the Best Defender honor. To determine the winners, the second round of voting will be accessible until December 20 at vote.globesoccer.com. Coaches, directors, and club presidents make up a worldwide jury.
