AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the latest player to be tested positive for COVID-19.

The Serie A club has announced in an official statement today. The official statement read: “Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tested positive for Covid-19 following a second round of swab tests ahead of tonight’s game against Bodø/Glimt. The Club has informed the relevant authorities and the player has been promptly placed in quarantine at home. All other team members and staff have tested negative.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic tweeted: “I tested negative to Covid yesterday and positive today. No symptoms what so ever. Covid had the courage to challenge me. Bad idea”

Zlatan has always been Zlatan, who is the superior being. Hopefully, he will defeat the Coronavirus with ease.

The Swedish veteran was in red hot form as he scored twice in Milan’s 2-0 win over Bologna on Monday.

Ibrahimovic will not be able to return to the pitch until he tests negative. This will be a big blow to the Milan club as Ibrahimovic was proving to be a true leader on the pitch.
