With Todd Boehly’s takeover of Chelsea expected to be complete soon, the transfer talk surrounding the Blues has been one of the matters of intense speculation.
Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are set to move to Real Madrid and Barcelona as free agents respectively, following the expiry of their contracts. And now, Marcos Alonso could follow the Danish centre-back to Camp Nou. Talks with N’Golo Kante and Jorginho over potential renewals will begin once the sanctions are removed. The former Champions League winners are also open to selling Hakim Ziyech if they receive an important offer for the player in the summer.
In terms of arrivals, Jules Kounde remains one of the top names on Chelsea’s transfer list. The Sevilla centre-back has a release clause worth €80 million, and the plan to sign him has not changed yet. The player is open to a run in England, and Chelsea are pushing to complete the transfer when they are allowed to do business in the transfer market again.
