Most valuable players from each season of the Pro Kabaddi League

Season 7: Naveen Kumar (Dabang Delhi)

In the last two seasons of the competition, Naveen Kumar has left his mark. He is the only player in the PKL to complete 22 super-10s in a single season. He was outstanding for Dabang Delhi in the seventh season, guiding them to the final match.

He appeared in 23 games and earned 303 points, with a raid strike rate of 64 percent and a tackle strike rate of 25 percent. Almost single-handedly, the youthful raider helped the team to the top of the points table. Furthermore, at the age of 19, Naveen Kumar became the youngest recipient of the Most Valuable Player title.

Season 6: Pawan Sehrawat (Bengaluru Bulls)

Bengaluru Bulls won the sixth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League thanks in large part to Sehrawat. After scoring 22 points in the season’s final game, the athlete made some history. In the process of ensuring his team’s victory, he also set a new record for the most points scored in the final. Pawan also holds the record for scoring the most points in a single match with 39.

In the sixth season, he appeared in 24 games for the team and scored 282 points. Pawan was named the season’s most valuable player as a result of his outstanding performance.

Season 5: Pardeep Narwal (Patna Pirates)

When it comes to the league, Pardeep Narwal is a big player. He has a sizable fan base as a result of his outstanding performances over the years. The player was a key part of the Patna Pirates’ three PKL championships. In his Pro Kabaddi League career, he has amassed around 1169 points.

During the fifth season, Pardeep Narwal was particularly impressive. In 26 games, he scored 369 raid points. In that season, Narwal completed 19 super-10s and 18 super raids. This is why he was named the most valuable player in that edition. It was the player’s second straight award. Surprisingly, the franchise dropped Pardeep Narwal ahead of the auction for season eight, much to the surprise of many fans. In the upcoming season, he will play for UP Yoddha.

Season 4: Pardeep Narwal (Patna Pirates)

As previously stated, Pardeep Narwal won the MVP award for the fourth and fifth seasons in a row. In the third season, he was outstanding for Patna Pirates, leading the team to its first-ever Pro Kabaddi League title. Narwal maintained his form in the fourth, and by the end of the game, he was the most valuable player. With 131 points, he was the second-highest raid points scorer behind Rahul Choudhary. In 16 games, he completed five super-10s and three super raids.

Due to his ‘dubki’ skill, Narwal tricked top defenders. In the final, Narwal scored 16 points against the Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Season 3: Rohit Kumar (Patna Pirates)

In the third season of the league, Rohit Kumar was a member of the Patna Pirates. He is best known as the captain of the Bengaluru Bulls, who won the league’s sixth season. He did, however, lead the Pirates to the league title in the third edition, and he was also named the most valuable player.

In the third season, Rohit Kumar was outstanding for the team. In 12 games, he scored 102 raid points. He also had the highest point total in the final, at eight. As a result of his accomplishments, he was named the most valuable player.

Season 2: Manjeet Chillar (Bengaluru Bulls)

In the second season of the Pro Kabaddi League, Manjeet Chillar was named the most valuable player. In his first season with the Bulls, he scored 51 points in 16 games. He continued his strong play into the second season, scoring 107 points in 16 games.

During season two, the all-rounder led the Bulls to the competition championship with 40 tackle points and 67 raid points. The team, however, was defeated in the final by U-Mumba.

Season 1: Anup Kumar (U-Mumba)
