It’s only recently that Reliance Jio introduced their new JioFiber plans with unlimited data (3300GB) that comes with a 30-day free trial as well. Users get two options – either go for only the Fiber internet and the router given with it for ₹ 1,500.
Else you can opt for the Jio 4K set-top box and the internet for ₹ 2,500 that entitles you the benefit of using the ₹ 999 plan and above. However, say you go for the ₹ 1,500 plan but want to upgrade to the higher plans that require the set-top box.

Customers who opted for Free Trial with the ₹1500/- plan, now have an option to upgrade their service experience and get a Jio Set Top Box by paying an additional Rs 1000/- refundable security deposit
STEPS TO UPGRADE:
Users who opted for Rs 399 & Rs699 broadband only plans, On recharge of Rs 999 or above plan, the internet-only customer will see a BANNER inside MyJio, that enables payment of this Rs 1,000 security deposit and redemption of this voucher to get the Jio Set Top Box.
- PAYMENT: Click on the banner in the MyJio app, make a payment of Rs. 1000
- REDEMPTION: You will get a Jio Set Top Box Voucher inside MyJio (MyVoucher section) that can be used to GET a Jio Set Top Box AT NO EXTRA COST
