## What Is Hello Bachhon About?

The series is inspired by the real journey of **Alakh Pandey**, who in 2016 launched a YouTube channel called [Physics Wallah](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physics_Wallah) to help students prepare for India’s fiercely competitive **Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)** — without the heavy cost of traditional coaching academies. What started as humble video lessons eventually grew into one of India’s most beloved and accessible education platforms.

**Hello Bachhon** (which translates to *Hello Children*) follows Pandey’s early struggles — his determination to level the playing field for students who lacked resources, the systemic barriers he had to fight, and the students whose lives he quietly transformed. It’s an underdog story with real stakes.

The series is produced by **TVF** — the same studio behind the cult hit *Kota Factory* — and written by *Kota Factory* writer **Abhishek Yadav**, making this feel like a natural, heartfelt evolution in storytelling about India’s high-pressure education world.

## Cast Highlights

**Vineet Kumar Singh** (*Betaal, Bard of Blood*) leads the series as Alakh Pandey. He’s supported by a strong ensemble including **Vikram Kochhar**, **Girija Oak Godbole**, **Satendra Soni** (*Laapataa Ladies*), and **Naman Jain** (*Bombay Talkies*), among others.
