Nick and Charlie are saying goodbye, and Netflix made sure we’d be crying before the first scene even ends. The trailer for [Heartstopper Forever](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heartstopper_Forever) just dropped, complete with a brand-new Olivia Rodrigo track and a gallery of first-look images that tease both Pride parade joy and a genuinely tense hospital scene.

## A Song Built for Heartbreak

The two-minute trailer leans on “Stupid Song,” an exclusive first-listen track from Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming album. It’s the perfect match for the story Netflix is telling here, Nick heading off to university while Charlie carves out independence at school, and a relationship suddenly forced to survive its first real distance. Rodrigo’s moody, anxious pop-punk energy practically narrates the doubt creeping into Nick and Charlie’s once-unshakable bond.

## What the First-Look Images Are Hiding

It’s not all prom nights and Pride parades. Alongside the celebratory shots (yes, the “WE ARE NOT A PHASE” banner is back), the new stills also show a bloodied Nick in a hospital waiting room with a visibly shaken Charlie by his side. Netflix isn’t being shy about teasing real stakes for the finale, even as fan-favorite teachers Mr. Farouk and Mr. Ajayi return for one last appearance.
