Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane has been in tremendous form this season. He has scored 32 goals and also provided 16 assists this season, but due to Spurs’ poor form, he hasn’t been able to win anything.
Interestingly, Kane still has no trophies in his cabinet despite being one of the best strikers in England. The most notable trophy is the Champions League runners-up trophy.
According to many reports, Kane wants to leave Spurs at the end of this season and join a team where he can win many trophies.
While appearing as a guest on Gary Neville’s ‘The Overlap’, Kane said that he wants to take control of his own future.
“I want to be playing in the biggest games, the biggest moments.”
“I hope that we can have that conversation.”
“I’m sure that [Daniel Levy, Tottenham Chairman] will want to set out the plan of where he sees it but ultimately it’s going to be down to me and how I feel and what’s going to be the best for me and my career this moment in time.”
Harry Kane was also spotted to go on an appreciation lap after the last match as if he was bidding farewell. It seems Kane really wants to sign for a team that will fight for the league and the Champions League every season.
The England international reportedly prefers to stay in England. So all the top clubs in England have started evaluating their options to sign Kane. It will be an interesting transfer window.
