With the blessing of Lord HanuMan, the new teaser of the upcoming film is really great. We can’t deny that the Tollywood film industry, which is currently enjoying its golden period, is set to deliver another Pan-India film titled Hanu-Man after massive blockbusters like Baahubali, RRR, Pushpa: The Rise, etc.
Touted to be the first superhero film of Telugu cinema, Hanu-Man is written and directed by Prasanth Varma, who is best known for directing movies like Awe and Zombie Reddy. The superhero film is expected to be released in December 2022 in Telugu and dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions. Meanwhile, it is also reported that the non-theatrical rights of the movie’s Hindi and Telugu versions have been acquired by Zee Network for a whopping Rs. 16 crores.
As set in the fictional universe of Anjanadri, Hanu-Man is a part of Varma’s Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. The film is inspired by the Hindu god Hanuman. As per director Prasanth Varma, the film’s title Hanuman is dedicated to many people, who, think of Lord Hanuman when they think about any superpower or superhero in Hindu mythology.
Varma is a visionary director known for redefining Telugu culture with his ground-breaking concepts. The film was announced by him on May 29, 2021, coinciding with his birthday, and since then it has piqued the interest of Indian superhero enthusiasts.
The filming was officially launched in June 2021 with a pooja ceremony, and the filming also started on the same day. In September 2021, Mollywood heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan launched the first look of the film.
HanuMan: Cast
Produced by Prime show Entertainment, the film stars promising and young talent, Teja Sajja, in the lead role of Hanumanthu. He was last seen in the sci-fi romantic film Adbhutham, which was released directly on Disney+ Hotstar in November 2021.
Along with Teja, the film also stars Amritha Aiyer as Meenakshi, versatile actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Anjamma, Vinai Rai as Michael, and Raj Deepak Shetty in the key role.
HanuMan: Release Date
Recently, the makers of the film shared some new updates about its teaser. It was confirmed that the teaser will be released on November 15, 2022, but veteran Superstar Krishna’s demise left the industry in shock, and the teaser launch event got postponed, now released on the 21st of Nov. This is a popular action and mythological drama, VFX seems rich and stunning.
