Paris Saint-Germain have formally completed negotiations with Inter Milan regarding the transfer of Achraf Hakimi. Renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has given the deal his ‘here we go’ signal and also mentioned that he is on his way to the city to formally pen the deal with the French club.

The Moroccan international has agreed on a five-year contract with PSG until 2026, and was pursued by numerous other clubs including Chelsea this summer. However, the player chose to sign with PSG over all other options.

Hakimi joined Inter Milan only in 2020, and was very impressive under Antonio Conte as he helped the Nerazzurri win their first Serie A title in over a decade. Despite the Italian club paying €40 million to Real Madrid for him a year ago, he has been let go in the span of the year due to the financial problems being faced by the club.

They had to part ways with Antonio Conte this summer for the same reason. PSG will pay Inter a sum over €60 million for the wing-back, who is hailed as one of the best in the world due to his remarkable attacking output and his versatility. He can play on the left side as well, and this makes him even more of a threat.

PSG have already confirmed the signing of Gini Wijnaldum as a free agent, and are also expected to announce Sergio Ramos, Gigio Donnarumma and Hakimi this month itself.
