Hakim Ziyech is close to joining AC Milan this summer, with Chelsea and the Serie A champions in close contact over a move. The Moroccan will initially join them on a loan move, which will have an option to buy.

Thomas Tuchel is open to letting the player go this summer. Although he has made an impact on certain occasions, he has not been able to nail down a starting spot for himself under the German. Moreover, injuries have also hampered his progress at Chelsea, which has added to the problems.

Hakim Ziyech close to joining AC Milan

The Rossoneri are in need of a first-team quality right winger. They have a great talent in Rafel Leao on the left, but need something special on the other side as well. And a player like Hakim Ziyech could help their front three become a serious threat.

The loan fee for the transfer is set to be around €5 million, and AC Milan have pitched a €20 million offer to make the move permanent. However, Chelsea are trying to push for €25 million for the winger.

The Blues have done a lot of business with AC Milan over the recent years. Olivier Giroud, Fikayo Tomori and Tiemoue Bakayoko have made the move to San Siro from Stamford Bridge, and in all likelihood, it seems like Ziyech will be joining the list in the next few days.
