Hakan Calhanoglu will be continuing at Inter Milan and is in the final stages of renewing his contract. The midfielder has made no secret about his desire to continue with them, and the official paperwork and documents will be wrapped up very soon.

The new contract will expire in June 2027, adding three years to his current deal, which expires in 2024. Calhanoglu joined the Nerazzurri in 2021 after leaving Milan on a free transfer. And since then, he has won the Coppa Italia as well as the Italian Super Cup twice.

Hakan Calhanoglu to officially renew with Inter very soon

The Turkiye international has been a regular in Inter’s midfield ever since he joined. This season, Hakan Calhanoglu has scored three goals and provided six assists across all competitions. However, the team’s performance has not been up to the mark and they are out of the race for the Scudetto.

Once he signs the new contract, he will be earning a salary of €5 million per season after tax.

He isn’t the only player that will be renewing his contract with Inter this season. The board is also planning to extend the contract of Alessandro Bastoni, whose deal expires in 2024. He is currently earning only €2.8 million, and his agents are pushing to double his wages so that they can avoid a similar situation as Milan Skriniar
