The midfielder was one of the youngest players to ever debut in the I-League, at the age of 16 years and 359 days against Madan Maharaj on October 20, 2021.

He attracted a significant amount of attention in Rajasthan United’s win against ATK Mohun Bagan in the Durand Cup. The youngster scored the winning goal in the 3-2 victory to stun the ISL club in front of their home fans, in their Group B fixture. And now, he is set to join one of the biggest clubs in the division in the coming days.

Gyamar Nikum mostly plays out on the right, and is a pacey and skillful winger. He has the confidence to take on his opponent and beat them, and can be a very smooth operator for the Islanders in the coming years as he becomes more experienced.
