Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is much more straightforward than it has expected, but Marvel’s enthusiasm has now made it more excited as the release date has been specified.
It is directed and written by James Gunn who has already started to fuel the fire of excitement around the film and branding it as “huge” still some way ahead of its release.
Plot
Till now Gunn has only promised an “epic conclusion” to the story which has begun in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy but still, now the specific plot has not yet been revealed.
Cast
Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt again as Star-Lord, and there will also be Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis. Avengers: Endgame, also revealed that we’ll be seeing Zoe Saldana as Gamora again.
Release Date
Marvel has finally made its confirmation about the Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 and it will be going to release on 5th May 2023. Though it is still a long way away at just under two years, it does allow fans to have a fixed date to look forward to.
The filming of the movie is all set to start this November. It will take at least six months as per Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista. Although it will also involve filming for the upcoming Holiday Special, as explained by Gunn.
The movie Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is all set to premiere on Disney+ in December 2022, and Gunn has also said that he will shoot it at the same time as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3.
