Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Mid-Credit and Post-Credit Scenes
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 is definitely one of the highly anticipated adaptations of The Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to be at the fair and stands at the end of the era, returning to Avengers: Endgame in 2019. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the brand new adaptation of these, with several cast members had already declared it will be the final MCU film they do. James Gunn, the writer-director has already as boss at DC Studios, meaning he, in all likelihood, has done with Marvel for the foreseeable future.
Following the release of three standalone films, two Avengers movies, a Thor film, and a holiday special, this marks a pivotal point for the current lineup of the Guardians of the Galaxy. While the group as a whole will persist in one form or another, it wouldn’t be surprising to witness the emergence of a fresh incarnation of the team in the future.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is pretty well self-contained-, this tale is concerned only with the past and present of the Guardians themselves, without mentioning any MCU stories they weren’t directly engaged with. But it’s still a Marvel movie, it means that there are many additional scenes after the ending the credits start to roll that may or may not tease some upcoming thing.
One may anticipate a concluding film, reminiscent of a “one last ride” concept, but this does not resemble a long and elaborate conclusion similar to Lord of the Rings. Instead, the Guardians encounter a clash with the High Evolutionary, who has instructed the destruction of his Counter-Earth. They retaliate by launching an assault on his spaceship laboratory. During this grand final confrontation, Rocket triumphs over the wicked High Evolutionary, the one responsible for transforming him into his current state many years ago.
The Guardians, along with the people of Knowhere, then manage to very dramatically rescue all the captives on his ship, from the horde of grey-haired children all the way down to the new batch of baby raccoons. And then it’s party time.
It seems that each of the Guardians who aren’t coming with the group shows every character who isn’t CGI having their own little denouement. Gamora comes back to the Ravagers, having such decent terms with Peter. Drax and Nebula are going to take care of all those grey-haired kids. Mantis is heading off on adventures with the tentacle monster friends who had been held in the belly of the High Evolutionary’s ship.
Peter comes back to Earth and pays a visit to his grandfather, who he hasn’t seen since the night he was abducted by the Ravagers in the 1980s.
Guardians of the Galaxy Mid-Credits Scenes
The first bonus scene that comes a couple minutes into the end credits, holds up with several characters hanging out jointly to the outside some town on some new alien planet. We’ve got such Rocket, Groot, Adam Warlock, Kraglin, Cosmo the Spacedog, and the main little grey-haired girl from that group of kids the Guardians rescued at the end of the movie.
They’re talking about the Earth music they are fond of the little girl is into Britney Spears and Korn.
Also: they’re all wearing the Guardians of the Galaxy uniforms, and they’re ready to fight a large horde of some kind of space animals that are about to stampede into town. The girl questioned Rocket if he feels very bad for having to battle these animals who aren’t going to act with malice. Rocket points out that the town has nobody to battle for them. It is what it is, Rocket pretty much is saying here.
At the same time, Adam Warlock holds a significant character in the comics. In Marvel, he features a character that is not likely to reveal and then immediately abandon. This film hardly estimated established Rocket as one of the smartest individuals in the entire MCU. It was he, not the High Evolutionary, who actually perfected that fast-evolution tech. So we’re talking, like, one of the top 10 smartest people in the universe. Maybe the smartest. And it would be a shame if we don’t get to see him flex that big brain some more.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Post-Credits scenes
At the end of the film, Peter Quill has made a well-overdue visit to his grandpa return on Earth. The post-credits scene reaches Peter and Grandpa Quill sometime after their sad reunion during a more mundane moment: breakfast.
It’s a funny and cute scene without any story–they’re talking about house chores, and Peter thinks it would be just a bit silly to make him mow the lawn. Now, the biggest revelation belongs to the title card at the end of the scene, after the movie has decided to be faded grey for the final dance
