Rockstar Games never does anything quietly, and this is no exception. The studio just announced **“[Grand Theft Auto VI](https://www.rockstargames.com/VI/): An Extended Look,”** a brand-new deep dive that’s premiering in a place fans didn’t expect: **Netflix**. If you’ve been refreshing the Rockstar Newswire every day since the last trailer, mark your calendar — the wait just got a little more exciting.

## What’s Actually Happening

On **Thursday, August 27**, Netflix subscribers get first access to the Extended Look at **3 p.m. ET**. A few hours later, at **9 p.m. ET**, it goes fully public — landing on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI website for everyone else to watch.

It’s a smart move. Pairing a gaming reveal with a streaming giant’s audience means GTA VI content reaches millions who might never open YouTube for a trailer, while die-hard fans still get their day-one, frame-by-frame breakdown.
