Finally, some good news at the Barcelona tent as two of their highly-rated Frenchmen return to group training this morning. Both Antoine Griezmann & Ousmane Dembele were with Quique Setien’s squad on Saturday returned to training after a day of rest on Friday with all the available players at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Hopefully, both of these attacking prospects will be available for next week’s challenge but most likely Griezmann is much more secure than Dembele, whom Setien will not risk playing at next week’s match if it’s not necessary. But it’s good to see both of them back with the group completing part of the training session.
Also, another Frenchmen Clément Lenglet, who was also injured weeks ago, completed the entire session with the rest of the squad. Obviously, Lenglet will be an essential part of the team, who will face Napoli in a week at the Camp Nou, because both Samuel Umtiti and Ronald Araujo remains injured.
Also, Barça B goalkeeper Iñaki Peña was also present in the session as were his fellow B team members Mingueza, Reis, Jandro, Monchu, Konrad, Riqui Puig, and Ansu Fati. This will be a great opportunity for Barça B’s two exciting players Konrad de la Fuente and Monchu to be part of the Champions League preparation.
