Gran Turismo 7’s trailer showcased at the PlayStation Showcase event

At the PlayStation Showcase event, we got to witness many games and got to see some amazing teasers to watch for the upcoming teasers. One of the most amazing reveals of the event was the showcasing of the driving simulator Gran Turismo 7.

there was even the release of the new trailer of the game at the event which brings the game’s visuals complete with Ray Tracing. It also showcased the various models that we will get to use in the game after its release.

The game will display a large open world for driving, which will be dotted with map icons and points of interest where they can pose their autos in Gran Turismo 7’s photo mode.

In the trailer, we get to see the garage where the player’s vehicles will be stored along with the various vehicles that will be available.

this particular game is the latest entry in the Gran Turismo series and is the first numbered entry in PlayStation’s driving game series to be released in almost nine years.

It will also be the first game to be released since 2017’s Gran Turismo Sport. The game was originally slated to be released in 2021, but due to some reasons, it got pushed back to March 4, 2022.

it will also have cross-generation support for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles. Sony will be costing some extra money for players wanting a next-gen upgrade however, this has received a backlash from PlayStation users.

After the backlash, PlayStation President Jim Ryan stepped up to discuss the public’s concerns about next-gen upgrade pricing:

I also want to confirm today that moving forward, PlayStation first-party exclusive cross-gen titles (newly releasing on PS4 & PS5) – both digital and physical* – will offer a $10 USD digital upgrade option from PS4 to PS5. This will apply to the next God of War and Gran Turismo 7, and any other exclusive cross-gen PS4 & PS5 title published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
