Star kid launches are nothing new in Bollywood, but this one comes with a genuinely rare twist: Yashvardhan Ahuja, son of veteran actor [Govinda](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Govinda_(actor)), is making his lead debut in a horror-comedy — and his mother Sunita Ahuja is playing his on-screen mother too.

## What Is “Hero Ki Horrorine” About?

The film is a horror-comedy blending romance, supernatural elements, and humor. Yashvardhan will star opposite *Laapataa Ladies* breakout Nitanshi Goel, with a supporting cast that includes Jamie Lever, Chunky Panday, Brijendra Kala, and Simrat Kaur Randhawa.

## Why The Mother-Son Casting Is A Big Deal

Speaking about the project, Sunita Ahuja said she believes this may be the first time in the industry that a mother and son are being launched together on screen. It’s a genuinely unusual move for a debut film — most star-kid launches lean on a single generation’s star power, not two at once — and it adds real emotional stakes to a project that could otherwise read as a standard horror-comedy debut vehicle.

With Ektaa R. Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms backing the project, “Hero Ki Horrorine” also has a production pedigree built around commercially reliable genre entertainment, giving Yashvardhan’s launch a stronger foundation than many recent star-kid debuts.
