## Three Years in the Making

This is Jinyoung’s first solo album in **three years**, making *Said & Done* one of the most anticipated [K-pop](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-pop) comebacks of 2026. His agency BH Entertainment confirmed back in March that Jinyoung was personally involved in writing the lyrics — something he does intentionally to pour real depth into his music, not just as a checkbox.

His solo journey has always been quietly impressive. The 2021 single *DIVE* introduced a more introspective, emotionally raw side of him. His 2023 EP *Chapter 0: WITH* took that further, building a narrative around personal growth and connection. Late 2025 brought the holiday single *Christmas Fever*, which showed he could do warmth and joy just as convincingly. *Said & Done* now picks up where all of that left off — and based on the trailer, the mood is moody, cinematic, and deeply personal.

## More Than Just a Singer

What makes Jinyoung’s comeback particularly exciting is the sheer scale of everything he’s balancing right now. He’s currently starring in the JTBC drama *Shining* and is set to lead the upcoming tvN series *100 Days of Lies* later in 2026. This is a man who moves seamlessly between intense dramatic acting and heartfelt, self-penned music — and he makes both look effortless.

His acting credits speak volumes: *Our Unwritten Seoul*, *The Witch*, *Yumi’s Cells*, and the film *Hi-Five* have all showcased his range and emotional depth on screen. That same depth is what makes his music feel genuine rather than performative.

## Why *Said & Done* Could Be His Best Work Yet

The title itself is intriguing. *Said & Done* carries a sense of resolution, of looking back on something fully lived — very on-brand for someone as reflective as Jinyoung. With personal lyric contributions and three years of life experience packed in, this album has the makings of something truly special.
