GoPro, one of the world’s leading action camera manufacturers, is scheduled to release the next-generation camera soon. The GoPro Hero 12 Black, the successor to the previous-generation Hero 11 Black, is slated to hit the market soon. The GoPro Hero 12 Black is the name of the forthcoming action camera from GoPro, and details about it have leaked.
Roland Quandt, a popular tipper, has written a detailed piece for the winfuture website. The site provides all the specifics of the impending GoPro Hero 12 Black, including the full specs sheet, photos, price, and availability.
According to current sources, the future action camera will receive a small upgrade over the previous generation. The GoPro Hero 12 Black resembles the Hero 11 Black in terms of appearance and design.
However, the covering surrounding the rear display is now dotted rather than completely black. The GoPro Hero 12 Black, like the Hero 11, is believed to have a 27MP 1/1.9-inch sensor. In terms of video capabilities, the camera can capture up to 5.3K 60fps footage with HDR.
Users will be able to capture a 24.7MP screengrab from the videos, as we have seen in the past. Users can shoot in both 8-bit and 10-bit modes with this camera. The camera will have HyperSmooth 6.0 stabilisation, and other software functions will be similar to the previous generation. The camera will have a 2.27-inch primary display and a 1.4-inch front display.
On the plus side, the GoPro Hero 12 Black is expected to come with a 1720mAh Enduro battery capable of lasting up to 70 minutes at 5.3K (60fps) resolution. This is 9 minutes longer than the GoPro Hero 11 Black’s advertised time. The GoPro is believed to be able to record Full HD recordings for up to 2.5 hours.
The device is supposed to be the same size as the Hero 11 Black. The Hero 12 will also have HyperView, Horizon Lock, HyperSmooth AutoBoost, and other features. According to the source, the Hero 12 Black will be on sale on September 13 for 449.99 Euros. Once the smartphone is officially released, the pricing and availability in India will be known.
