A new leaked ad shows some details about the upcoming Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro

While Google launched the Pixel 6 Series last week, full reviews are still yet to come. In spite of that, real-world benchmarks of the phone have slowly surfaced, with the latest of the lot showing strong evidence of the Pixel 6’s excellent GPU performance.

As revealed on Reddit, the Google Pixel 6 scored an insane 6,666 on 3DMark’s Wild Life test. In comparison, going by own in-house tests, the Exynos 2100 as implemented on the Galaxy S21 Ultra scores 5,668, the Snapdragon 888 on the Mi 11 scores 5,599, and the Snapdragon 765G on the Pixel 5 scored just 1,015.

The Google Pixel 6 looks to sit on the top of the Android pile in terms of GPU performance. This performance carries over to 3DMark’s Wild Life Extreme Test, with the Pixel 6 earning a score of 2,028 against the Exynos 2100s 1,793 and the Snapdragon 888’s 1,494.

The Google Pixel 6 also has the highest average fps at 12.10fps, compared to the Exynos 2100s 10.70fps and the Snapdragon 888’s 8.90fps.

While these figures are not to be considered as gospel, it is just 3DMark for now, they provide rather compelling evidence of the Pixel 6 and its 20-core Mali-G78 MP20 GPU being proper heavyweights at the very least.

Sustained performance benchmarks would provide a more definitive perspective on Tensor’s performance, however.
