Everything You Need to Know about the Google Pixel Buds Pro

In a recent development, tipster Paras Guglani has revealed that Google intends to introduce fresh color options for the Google Pixel Buds Pro during its upcoming October 4 event. Specifically, the new additions are reported to be the Porcelain and Sky Blue color variants. It’s worth noting that Porcelain and Sky Blue hues have been a recurring theme in Google’s hardware products this year. During Google I/O, the company introduced the Google Pixel Buds-A series in the Sky Blue color to complement the Google Pixel 7a Sea color option.

Notably, Google had previously launched the Google Pixel Fold and the Google Pixel Tab in Porcelain color variants at this year’s Google I/O event. Additionally, there have been rumors of the Google Pixel 8 Pro being available in Porcelain and Sky color options, with a promotional banner featuring the Pixel 8 Pro in Porcelain color surfacing online.

Regarding the design and specifications, it is expected that the Google Pixel Buds Pro in Porcelain and Sky Blue will mirror the existing color variants of the Buds Pro. Google is likely to continue its dual-color design approach for these upcoming additions.

To recap, the Google Pixel Buds Pro comes equipped with custom-designed 11mm dynamic drivers and offers features such as active noise cancellation (ANC), transparency mode, and volume EQ. They include a triple-microphone setup, voice accelerometer, and wind-locking mesh covers for voice-related functionalities. Connectivity-wise, they support Bluetooth 5.0, and their battery life is rated at 11 hours for the earbuds alone, 31 hours with the charging case (without ANC), and 20 hours with the charging case (with ANC enabled). These buds support fast charging, feature a USB Type-C port, and offer Qi wireless charging compatibility.

Their dimensions are 22.33 × 22.03 × 23.72 mm (earbuds) and 25 × 50 × 63.2 mm (charging case). They weigh 6.2 grams (earbud) and 62 grams (with charging case). Additionally, they possess an IPX4 rating (earbuds) and an IPX2 rating (charging case). The existing color options include Coral, Lemongrass, Fog, and Charcoal, and they are priced at ₹19,990.
