The Google Pixel 8a looks similar to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, according to OnLeaks renderings (via Smartprix). This looks to be the location of two cameras. The LED flash module is also placed similarly to that of the premium models.
Google Pixel 8A design details
Google made waves with the launch of its Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro on September 5th, which are slated to hit the Indian market next week. Our expectations were right in February when we provided an exclusive peek at the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
The Google Pixel 8a, as seen in the renders, features some minor design changes compared to its predecessor. Its most distinguishing feature, the camera visor, remains, as do its dimensions, which are 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9mm, meaning that the phone will be slightly smaller, less wide, and slimmer than the Pixel 7a, which is 152.4 x 72.9 x 9.0mm.
A camera lid with two camera sensors can be found on the Pixel 8a’s rear surface. The front features a 6.1-inch flat screen with a hole-punch camera cut out near the top of the display, relatively minimal bezels on the sides, and a little chin on the bottom.
Smartprix claims the 8A will employ the same Tensor G3 chip as its brothers, though it’s unclear whether they have any inside information on this.
