Google is expanding VPN access to all Google One members across all plans, and a new dark web report feature is now available to all subscribers. VPN by Google One was previously only available to Premium 2TB plan members, but will now be available to all Google One members, including those on the $1.99 per month Basic plan.
The service is now available to all subscribers, finally, and here’s all you need to know:
The tech behemoth points out that VPN by Google One protects your internet activity regardless of which apps or browsers you use, shielding it from hackers or network operators by masking your IP address
The VPN is available on Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac devices in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. You can also share the VPN with up to five other Google One subscribers.
Google is also introducing a new feature for One member on all plans in the United States called “dark web report” to help users monitor their personal information on the dark web. The Dark Web Report will be available to members of all Google One plans in the United States over the next few weeks.
