The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 was originally scheduled to take place in Bangladesh; but, due to significant political unrest in that nation, the tournament was moved to the United Arab Emirates.

The international cricket tournament’s 23 matches will now be held in Dubai and Sharjah. It’s the final on October 20. Nonetheless, Bangladesh is still allowed to host, and on Thursday, October 2, the 10-team competition got underway. In the evening, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will square off.

Australia, the reigning champion, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand are in Group A of the competition. Group B includes Bangladesh, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, and the West Indies.
