Google Bard AI: Here’s how you can add to your iPhone’s home screen in 2023

Google Bard AI is dominating the news, and you can try it out right now. Google’s answer to OpenAI’s ChatGPT is Bard. While ChatGPT users simply say that Bard isn’t good enough, it’s impossible to overlook the reality that Bard AI is available in its full to almost everyone on the planet. If you wish to use all of the current features, you must pay for ChatGPT. This may change in the future for Bard, but Google is the clear victor in this category.

May 2023 will be recognized as a pivotal month for AI, as we witnessed a number of quick advances from the industry’s top leaders in generative AI. The internet was ultimately connected to OpenAI’s ChatGPT. It also now supports plugins and has an official ChatGPT iPhone app.

While improving functionality, Microsoft made Bing Chat GPT-4 available without a queue or account. And Google was big about AI at its annual I/O conference, making Google Bard AI available in 180 countries without a queue.

A specialised iPhone app is one major area where ChatGPT easily dominates. So yet, Bard AI does not have that luxury, and we’re hoping it will eventually become a standalone app for our phones. You can, however, add Bard to your iPhone’s Home Screen if you choose. It’s not a full-fledged app, but it allows you to access Bard with a single tap of an icon.

While there is no iPhone app for Bard AI, there is a way to turn Google’s first ChatGPT competitor into a home screen app. This straightforward solution employs one of the simplest and oldest Safari tricks: home screen shortcuts for webpages.

This isn’t as good as an official Google Bard AI for iPhone, but such an app doesn’t exist yet, and we could be waiting a long time. Even OpenAI took its time releasing the official iPhone app. For the time being, the app is only available in the United States.

How to use Google Bard AI in India as of 2023?

Here are the Steps on How to load Bard AI to your iPhone’s Home screen:

First, load bard.google.com in Safari: You should also sign in to Bard using your Google account. That is the only way to access Google’s ChatGPT-like service.

To transform Google Bard into an iPhone app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Bard page on your iPhone and tap the Share button.
  2. If you don’t immediately see the Share button, look for the + symbol and tap it to access the share sheet.
  3. Scroll down within the share sheet until you locate the “Add to Home Screen” option.
  4. Tap “Add to Home Screen” to proceed. This action will create a new “app” icon on your iPhone’s screen.
  5. Now you can freely move the Google Bard app icon around, similar to how you would rearrange any other iPhone app.

You may now open the Google Bard webpage, which will be ready for generative AI talks, by tapping the Google Bard shortcut.
