India’s digital advertising market is growing fast, and the numbers show who is capturing most of the spending. Brands are putting heavy money into online ads, and **Google** and **Meta** are taking the largest share, according to FY25 figures from company filings.

## Google and Meta Dominate India’s Digital Ad Market: FY25 Gross Advertising Revenue in India

| Company | Gross Ad Revenue (FY25) |
| --- | --- |
| Google India | ₹34,742 crore |
| Meta India | ₹29,392 crore |
| Amazon India | ₹8,342 crore |
| LinkedIn India | ~₹1,010 crore |

## Google Still Leads

Google India’s gross advertising revenue rose 11.3% year on year to ₹34,742 crore, up from ₹31,221 crore in FY24, according to Registrar of Companies filings accessed through Tofler. The growth reflects strong demand for Search and YouTube ads.

## Meta Is Closing the Gap

Meta India’s gross ad revenue is reported at ₹29,392 crore, up about 29% year on year. At that pace, the owner of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp could soon match Google’s ad revenue in India.

## Gross vs Net: An Important Difference

Gross revenue is not what these companies keep. Google India’s net advertising revenue fell 2% to ₹2,694.4 crore, because it paid ₹32,047.6 crore to Google Asia Pacific for advertising space. The headline figures show how much advertisers are spending, not how much stays in India.

## Why It Matters

Together, Google and Meta capture a very large share of the money Indian brands spend on digital ads. Amazon’s advertising business is a distant third, and LinkedIn is a niche player in the professional space. The trend matters for publishers, creators and smaller platforms competing for the same budgets.
