Golden Boy 2023 nominations revealed: Who will win the award this time?
This time around, it seems like the award will be won by either of Jamal Musiala or Jude Bellingham. Both players have been instrumental in Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund’s seasons respectively. And more importantly, they have both had standout individual campaigns.
Musiala has been much more prolific in terms of the stats, and he also has a Bundesliga winner’s medal to show. Bellingham helped Dortmund muster up a dramatic title challenge, but the black and yellow club fell short on the final day as Bayern clinched the title again in dramatic fashion.
Bellingham has now moved to Real Madrid, and is set for a whole new challenge in La Liga. On the other hand, Musiala seems committed to Bayern Munich and will be with them for a long time.
In spite of the hype surrounding Jude Bellingham’s Real Madrid transfer, Musiala seems like the player that will win the Golden Boy award in 2023.
