Tamil Nadu is revolutionizing welfare with the *Thaimaaman Thanga Mothiram Thittam*. Every newborn in state hospitals now receives a one-gram BIS-hallmarked gold ring, honoring the cultural tradition of a maternal uncle’s gift. With a massive ₹755.83 crore budget, the government acts as a symbolic guardian. It’s a bold, futuristic blend of heritage and state-backed support, ensuring a golden start for all.
