Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Box Office Collection

Three days since its debut, “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” has secured the third spot among the highest-grossing films of the year. Its opening weekend amassed an impressive $194 million worldwide. This positions it just below “Dune: Part Two,” which garnered $626 million over five weeks, and “Kung Fu Panda 4,” which accumulated $347 million after four weeks in theaters, in terms of total ticket revenue. As per the latest update, “Godzilla x Kong” has surpassed ₹40 crore at the Indian box office within three days of its release.

The film had a strong Monday, earning between Rs 5-5.50 crores nett on its fourth day. Notably, its decline from the Friday figures is less than 50 percent, which is a positive indicator. This performance is particularly impressive for a Hollywood production, as such films typically experience steeper drops during weekdays compared to local releases. The film’s steady performance on Monday, combined with the upcoming week being open, presents a promising opportunity for “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” to exceed the Rs 100 crore nett mark in India.
