## The Story That Feels Painfully Real

**Hwang Dong Man** (Koo Kyo Hwan), surrounded by seemingly successful friends, is convinced he’s the only one whose life isn’t working out. Consumed by anguish, envy, and jealousy, he sets out on a journey in search of peace.

Sound familiar? That’s exactly the point. This drama taps into the kind of quiet, everyday suffering that most people never talk about — and that’s what makes it so compelling from the very first description.

## Meet Byun Eun Ah — Sharp on the Outside, Fragile Within

**Byun Eun Ah** (Go Youn Jung) works as a planning PD at the film production company Choi Film. Her razor-sharp script instincts earned her the nickname “The Axe” — but that same talent has made her a target of intense envy from her boss, CEO Choi Dong Hyun.

Beneath her polished exterior lies deep-rooted anxiety. Whenever her relationships become strained or unexpected emotions surface, she suffers from nosebleeds — physical signals that old wounds buried in her past are resurfacing.

Her anchor through it all? Her grandmother, who raised her single-handedly by making kimbap at dawn every day. That quiet, enduring love shaped Byun Eun Ah’s dream of becoming a woman who can stand firm no matter what life throws at her.

## Why Their Connection Will Move You

While the rest of the world dismisses Hwang Dong Man as exhausting — a man who failed to debut after 20 long years — Byun Eun Ah sees something nobody else does: a vitality stronger than anyone around her, and an innocent energy with a thousand doors still open within his heart.

This is the kind of [emotional support](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_support) that transforms both the giver and the receiver — and watching two broken people slowly piece each other back together is exactly the emotional payoff K-drama fans live for.
