Giorgi Mamardashvili is all set to join Liverpool in the summer of 2025. The Georgian keeper was recently seen in Liverpool completing his medical for the transfer.
The Reds have agreed a deal worth €30 million upfront plus €5 million in add-ons for the player. Valencia will also have a 10% sell-on clause in case Liverpool sell the player at a later stage.

The 23-year-old was one of the standout performers at Euro 2024, and helped his country reach the knockout stages of the competition. As a result, Liverpool have decided to go ahead and sign him as an investment into their future.
Although Alisson looks nowhere close to leaving, Mamardashvili joining next summer would help facilitate a smooth change in guard when the Brazilian eventually moves on.
Giorgi Mamardashvili is Liverpool’s first new signing of the summer, even though he won’t be joining the club this summer. The Reds are now exploring a deal to sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus, with the player open to joining the Premier League.
