The president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino has confirmed that the governing authority of the world football, FIFA will continue to produce video games on a yearly basis, especially during this time, as their partnership with EA Sports has concluded.

FIFA 23 was the final video game that the world football governing authority produced during its time with EA Sports, however, the association faced an ending that began in 1994. This was due to FIFA increasing its licensing fee demand from $ 150m a year to $250m.

On the other hand, EA Sports will continue producing the franchise even without FIFA’s name, and Gianni Infantino even spoke in re-election where he confirmed that they plan to produce a rival game. Plans are primarily there to produce a video game to rival EA Sports.

Gianni Infantino was speaking at the FIFA congress in Kigali, Rwanda, where he was re-elected unopposed as the president of the authority for another four-year term until 2027. He also said in this case that they are testing the offside rule which will provide an advantage to the attacker. Also, it will make football more attractive to the fans who are watching.
