## What the Poco X8s certification listing tells us

**October 19, 2026** is the latest date the device name appeared on a certification website, offering the clearest update on its progress so far. The website and date are known, but the listing doesn’t establish a launch schedule.

Poco hasn’t confirmed an announcement date. > “A certification listing can reveal a model name without saying when it will go on sale.” That matters to buyers deciding whether to wait for a new phone or purchase one now. A listing can bring a device closer to public discussion, but it can’t answer the practical questions shoppers care about:

## Poco X8s specifications: what remains unknown

So far, the listing has confirmed **zero specifications**. The RAM configurations and internal storage options are still unknown, as is the processor model.

Poco hasn’t confirmed the display size or refresh rate either. Battery capacity is also unknown, leaving a key part of the phone’s everyday-use profile unanswered. Without those details, it’s impossible to judge whether the device is aimed at gaming, long battery life, or a lower-cost, general-purpose experience. Poco hasn’t announced an official retail

## Why the listing matters, and what it does not prove

Certification listings draw attention because they can appear before a company discusses a product officially. They may show that a device is moving through a formal process, but they don’t guarantee a retail launch is imminent. Poco still hasn’t confirmed when it will announce the phone. For buyers in India and other markets, that gap matters. The listing doesn’t say which markets will get the phone, whether it’ll be available everywhere at once, or how its.
