Starting on November 1, you might have to pay a little bit more for NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service. The business has upped the GeForce Now subscription costs in Canada and Europe “to account for increased operational costs in those areas.” To be precise, if you pay in CAD, GBP, EUR, SEK, NOK, DKK, CZK, or PLN, you should prepare for price increases the next month.
For instance, the $10 GeForce Now Priority tier will run $14 a month in Canada. The Ultimate tier, which costs $6 extra each month at $26, gives you access to servers with RTX 4080 GPUs, 240 frames per second of gameplay, and complete support for hardware-based ray tracing.
The GeForce Now Ultimate tier will cost you £2 extra if you reside in the UK. Additionally, there is a €2 surcharge if you pay in euros.
As you can see, the amount you’ll need to pay extra will vary depending on your location, but there is a method to lock in the service’s existing price for the upcoming six months: just pay for a six-month membership before November 1. Be aware that when the new pricing go into effect the next month, a 6-month Ultimate membership will cost $40 more in Canada and £20 more in the UK.
In the next weeks, you can also buy membership gift cards at the present rates. NVIDIA states that it will also change the price of GeForce Now gift cards after November 1; however, it will still honor cards bought before that date, even if they are used at a later time. However, if you joined the service early and are a “Founder” member, don’t worry; you are exempt from the price increases and can continue paying your present rates.
