Gareth Bale’s injury troubles have reappeared, with the Welshman ruled out of Real Madrid’s LaLiga Santander match on Sunday against Celta Vigo.

Gareth Bale has been diagnosed with a long-term injury to his right hamstring, according to tests conducted on Monday morning.

Missed Matches for Real Madrid

The Welshman’s stay at Real Madrid has been hampered by injury problems, and his latest setback means he will have missed 102 games. He may have to sit out for several weeks because it is a muscular ailment.

His current injury setback comes after a good start to the season, which he maintained into the international break with a hat-trick in a 3-2 World Cup qualifying victory over Belarus.

Carlo Ancelotti will be without one of his strongest attackers at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday as a result of his injury. His faith in the 32-year-old was rewarded at the start of this season, but he will be without one of his strongest attackers at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.

Muscle Injury Confirmed

Bale was injured during Real Madrid’s last practice session at the Santiago Bernabeu on September 11, the day before their game against Celta Vigo.

After training, photos emerged of the Welshman limping with a bandage wrapped around his right leg.

Given Los Blancos’ tight schedule until the next international break, the Real Madrid forward’s injury could not have arrived at a worse time.

In the next three weeks, Real Madrid will play six games, four in LaLiga Santander and two in the Champions League.

Bale has been plagued by injuries as he has gotten older, suffering three setbacks with Tottenham Hotspur in the 2020/21 season.

He missed 40 days owing to a knee condition, then 10 days due to illness, and then another 18 days due to a muscle strain.
