Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung‘s next big thing, the Galaxy S23 series, is already in the works and is expected to launch in the first half of 2023. One source indicated that the phones would be on sale in January, while the most recent leak we have pointed to a February launch.

However, the most recent tip we have for you is unquestionably sound. There has been a lot of conjecture regarding the release date and technical specifications of the phones.

Galaxy S23 Series processor details

The Exynos 2300 does not exist, at least not for the forthcoming flagships, since the Galaxy S23 series is solely going to be built on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This information was provided by Ice Universe in a shared photograph.

Goodbye, Exynos. This is the best news of the week. pic.twitter.com/s9tAYAdY8t

This supports the tipster’s earlier tweet, which stated that the Exynos 2300 has never been the subject of any information. In the paper shared in the tweet above, the CFO of Qualcomm states that the market share increases from 75% in the Galaxy S22 to worldwide in the Galaxy S23.

The Samsung Galaxy S22’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant was available in the vast majority of markets around the world earlier this year, while the Exynos variant was only available in a select handful. This may seem like a relatively minor distinction at first glance, but it is important to note. If the rumours are accurate, the Galaxy S23 will be released next year with identical features for every country, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

This is undoubtedly welcome news because, if you’ve had an opportunity to use the Galaxy S22 with Exynos, you know that it felt very different—and not in a good way—than the other type.
